Hosca announce their schedule for the Business Development Programme 2009.Our Business Development Programme will run with the Chambers Business School. As this year will be a difficult year from many organisations, I would encourage you to invest in your people by focusing on your training needs.
Chambers Business School has managed to gain grant support for you from Fás. Hosca have again been employed to support this programme and a number of longer courses. These are in the area of Lean Techniques and Future Skills. Both programmes have been specifically developed to meet the challenges of the next few years.
The last year has spelt out some clear messages to me in terms of where we as a country need to invest in our people and their development. There are areas where we need to improve to meet the challenges of the future. I have asked Hosca to look at their courses and concentrate on: -
• Customer Service
• Strategy and Planning
• Lean Manufacturing and the Lean Office
• Energy Management
• Leadership
We really need to make sure that our young supervisors and managers have got the leadership skills to work through this turbulent time and we are able to respond to the new opportunities that will present themselves.
Please contact me or Zenda Crowley for more information.
