Happy Birthday World Wide Web (www)
The web is fifteen years old this month!

The web developed by Tim Berners-Lee, a graduate of Oxford University, started with the philosophy that much academic information should be freely available to anyone. It aims to allow the international sharing and dissemination of information.

A recent study gives one of the clearest glimpses of the Internet`s media influence, especially during the working day. More than 60% of participants use the Web during the day, vs. 40% for newspapers, and about 30% for magazines. At work, the Web dominates media consumption. People are spending a lot more time during the day on the Web on average about 120 minutes whereas a decade ago, people were spending less than an hour on the Web.

What would life look without it?

What will develop from it?
