HOSCA is pleased to announce registration as a FETAC provider. HOSCA were issued with our award at a ceremony held in the Gresham Hotel on 18th June. The award was presented by Sean Haughey, Minister of Lifelong Learning, Stan McHugh CEO of FETAC along with Donal O`Rourke Chairman.
FETAC (the Further Education and Training Awards Council (is the national awarding body for further education and training in Ireland. Programmes leading to FETAC awards at Levels 1 to 6 of the National Framework of Qualifications are offered nationwide by a range of providers in education and training centres, in colleges and in the workplace.
FETAC is the single national awarding body for the further education and training sector in Ireland and all providers are required to have a quality assurance system in place.
FETAC`s functions include: -
- Making and promoting awards
- Validating programmes
- Monitoring and ensuring the quality of programmes
- Determining standards
