HOSCA is delighted to announce that we are working with the National College of Healthcare Education (NCHE) to provide training and education for Healthcare support staff.
This programme has been developed by Hosca Management Consultants and is aimed at people in HR, Training Specialists or Nursing Educators. The programme will equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide TBPM training and facilitate the process.

We have recently run programme successfully for Community Welfare Trainers in HSE Dublin North East and more recently in February, 2009 in Stewarts Hospital, Palmerstown.

Hosca gain new contract with Pauwels Trafo
We are delighted to announce that Pauwels in Cavan have awarded a Management Development and Lean Manufacturing project to Hosca. This contract is a key component in a plant expansion project. Pauwels are the largest manufacturer of electrical transformers in Ireland.
This seminar was supported by Pfizer and co-facilitated by HOSCA and Dalkia.
Hosca working with Stewarts Hospital on Training Partnership
Gerry Mulholland (Staffing Director) has agreed terms with Hosca in relation to a partnership approach to deliver training in Performance Management and Lean Healthcare.
Hosca continues to support Performance Management projects in the Health Services.

We are currently working with Stewarts Hospital, The Voluntary Hospitals and the HSE South and Dublin North East, in the implementation of their Team Based Performance Management (TBPM) systems.

ILM has recently announced the following good news regarding recognition of their courses through FETAC.
Imagine a food company being able to do more with less - less time, less inventory, less space, less people, and less money. Lean manufacturing is a process management philosophy, which helps companies to do just that. While many people associate lean with car manufacturing and Toyota in particular, the lean principles have been extended throughout the world for all kinds of production.
The new training schedule for the Fingal Chamber of Commerce has now been developed. It now reflects the needs that we determined through the first run of the programme in 2007. For further details please contact Zenda Crowley.

Hosca is pleased to announce the launch of the Lean Techniques programme. Participants from Anord, Benchmark Electronics, Kepak, Pauwells, and Wavin have started on the first programme. Tony Brady from Benchmark commented that "the first module was both educational and entertaining. John and Gerry are experienced facilitators who bring their own expertise and build upon what the participants bring to the event. I`m looking forward to the next session where we start working on shop floor activity. Another programme is to be launched in March, 2007.

Performance Through People
Hosca have recently been contracted by Pfizer Ireland Pharmaceuticals (PIP) to design and pilot a new Leadership Development Process. This new programme will complement a range of development activities already on offer to managers and supervisors in the manufacturing sites.
The web is fifteen years old this month!

The web developed by Tim Berners-Lee, a graduate of Oxford University, started with the philosophy that much academic information should be freely available to anyone. It aims to allow the international sharing and dissemination of information.
